The Philadelphia Eagles will reportedly start Michael Vick at quarterback for Sunday's game against the Lions. A Philadelphia newspaper reported Thursday that Vick will make his first NFL start since December 31, 2006 when he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Starting quarterback Kevin Kolb suffered a concussion during last Sunday's loss to the Packers. Kolb failed to pass the second phase of concussion testing on Wednesday. Vick came in for an injured Kolb and nearly led the team to a comeback win in Week 1. He completed 16- of-24 throws for 175 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 103 yards on 11 attempts. The Eagles signed Vick to a two-year contract last summer. This all came after Vick missed the 2007 and 2008 seasons while serving an 18-month prison sentence for dogfighting.
