Centennial showed superior speed, skill and muscle up front in a dominating 44-13 win last week over Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.). It started, as things often do, with a phone call. Corona Centennial coach Matt Logan first contacted Santa Ana Mater Dei coach Bruce Rollinson about the possibility of their teams playing in the early 2000s, and he continued to make inquiries year after year.
